Galaxy's Lawsuit Over 3.7 Million Bitcoin Accepted by New York Court

In March this year, Galaxy announced that the New York State Supreme Court had accepted a lawsuit concerning the ownership of over 3.7 million Bitcoin, valued at approximately $274 billion. According to NS3.AI, the lawsuit involves addresses that include 1.09 million Bitcoin associated with Satoshi Nakamoto. The plaintiffs, Noah Doe and two unnamed Wyoming limited liability companies, argue that these dormant addresses should be considered abandoned property. However, Galaxy clarified that even a complete victory in the lawsuit would not grant the plaintiffs access to private keys or the ability to transfer the Bitcoin.
