Crypto.com Secures UAE Stored Value Licence, Allowing Regulated Crypto Payments For Government Services And Public Fees
Crypto.com’s UAE unit has received a Stored Value Facilities licence from the Central Bank of the UAE, making it the first crypto firm in the country to reach this level of approval for regulated payment services. The licence allows crypto-based payments for Dubai government fees through Crypto.com’s system, with all transactions settled in UAE dirhams or approved stablecoins under central bank rules.
