Binance Set to Launch QNTXUSDT Pre-IPO Perpetual Futures Contract

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is expanding its trading options by introducing the QNTXUSDT USDⓈ-M Futures Pre-IPO Perpetual Contract. Trading for this contract is scheduled to commence on 2026-05-29 at 08:15 (UTC). This move aims to enhance the trading experience for users by offering more diverse choices on Binance Futures. The underlying equity for this contract is Quantinuum Inc., which is set to list its common shares on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol 'QNT.' The estimated share count for Quantinuum Inc. is 253.9 million shares, although this figure is provided for informational purposes only and may differ from the actual count upon IPO. The QNTXUSDT contract will have a settlement asset of USDT, with a tick size of 0.01 and a minimum trade amount of 0.01 QNTX. The minimum notional value is set at 5 USDT, and the contract will support a maximum leverage of 20x. Trading will be available 24/7, and the Multi-Assets Mode is supported. During the Pre-IPO trading period, the capped funding rate is set at +0.005% per funding interval, transitioning to +2.00% / -2.00% after the Pre-IPO trading ends. The interest rate during the Pre-IPO period is 0.015% daily, with funding fees settled every eight hours. The mark price methodology during the Pre-IPO trading period involves calculating the average of the last 10 seconds' trade prices on Binance RIE every second. A ±1% price cap will be imposed to limit price changes within this range during the Pre-IPO trading and transition period. Upon the official IPO listing, Pre-IPO Perps will transition to standard TradFi Perps, with the mark price gradually converging to the standard calculation. The funding rate will follow the standard TradFi Perp Funding Rate Mechanism post-transition.
