Futu and Longbridge have recently initiated the closure of accounts opened with false documentation and inactive accounts without assets or holdings. According to Odaily, both companies are taking steps to address these issues by terminating such accounts. Additionally, the Futu NiuNiu app has introduced a new 'Update Identity Information' feature under the 'Account' section. This update is accompanied by a guide on updating identity information, informing customers that if they possess valid overseas identification, their account transactions, fund transfers, and other functions will remain unaffected after the update.
