Arthur Hayes: Next Crypto Wave Depends on Central Bank Printing

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes at Inside the Blockchain 100 said he has no specific prediction on which investor cohort will drive the next major wave into crypto, arguing the answer depends entirely on how and where central banks print money. Hayes acknowledged publicly that he gets 75 to 80 percent of his calls wrong, but said his essay-writing process — not the outcome — is what builds the conviction needed to size winning trades correctly. He added that he is indifferent to traders who fade his published views, saying that when his macro thesis proves correct, the capital flows behind such events will far exceed what any social media speculator can move.
