Stablecoin payment company KAST has appointed former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) senior advisor Stephanie Allen as its new head of corporate and policy communications. According to Foresight News, this appointment aims to accelerate KAST's business growth in North America and Latin America.
During her tenure at the SEC, Allen provided internal and external communication strategies to KAST's leadership and served as a spokesperson. She also advised the SEC's cryptocurrency task force. KAST was founded by former Circle executive Raagulan Pathy in July 2024 and offers USD-denominated accounts, global payments across 170 countries, and a suite of stablecoin-based financial tools for consumers and businesses.
