Fortune magazine revealed that the total investment in the White House Trump banquet hall has increased from the initial estimate of $200 million to $400 million. The funds primarily come from tax-deductible private donations, which will be managed through the non-profit organization Trust for the National Mall. Fortune previously reported that several crypto companies and individuals participated in the donation, including Coinbase, Ripple, Tether America (a subsidiary of Tether), and prominent figures in the crypto industry such as Paxos co-founder Charles Cascarilla, Cameron Winklevoss, and Tyler Winklevoss. In addition, major technology companies such as Meta, Apple, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft are also among the donors. Notably, Google's parent company, Alphabet, previously reached a settlement with Trump and pledged $22 million for the banquet hall's construction.
