BIT reports that Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) currently holds approximately $62 billion worth of Bitcoin at a cumulative purchase cost. Even during the past two quarters of Bitcoin's consolidation phase, the company continued to raise funds through the capital markets and used those funds to increase its BTC holdings. Historically, Strategy's stock price has had a close correlation with Bitcoin's price. During bull markets, Strategy's stock price is more sensitive to Bitcoin price changes, exhibiting greater upward elasticity and often outperforming Bitcoin; however, when market momentum weakens, the stock price sometimes weakens earlier than Bitcoin. Currently, Strategy's and Bitcoin's price movements are diverging somewhat. If past price patterns remain valid, this divergence warrants continued monitoring. If their price movements converge again, it could indicate an improvement in Strategy's relative performance compared to Bitcoin, but this change still depends on the overall market environment.
