According to crypto analyst EmberCN, the rsETH incident has created a shortfall of approximately 68,900 ETH, equivalent to about $160 million. This shortfall was formed by the attackers staking rsETH to borrow 99,600 ETH, minus the 30,700 ETH recovered by Arbitrum. The relevant ETH has now been converted to BTC, and the incident has entered the recovery phase. Aave has coordinated the establishment of "DeFi United" for fund recovery, and various parties have provided approximately 13,500 ETH in support, including 2,500 stETH from Lido, 5,000 ETH from ether.fi, 5,000 ETH from Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and 1,000 ETH from the Golem Foundation. Other institutions have not disclosed their specific amounts.
