Blockchain sleuth EmberCN posted on X that Aave has experienced substantial capital outflows over the past three and a half days, with approximately $15.1 billion being withdrawn. The total deposits have decreased from $48.5 billion before the incident to $30.7 billion, marking a withdrawal of about one-third of the funds.
In comparison, other major lending platforms have shown varied trends. Morpho's total deposits have declined from $11.7 billion before the rsETH incident to $10.2 billion, resulting in a $1.5 billion outflow. Conversely, Spark's SparkLend business has seen an increase in total value locked (TVL), rising from $1.9 billion before the rsETH incident to $3.2 billion, indicating an inflow of $1.3 billion.
Spark has managed to attract some large investors and institutions, including Justin Sun and a whale who invested $500 million in February, redirecting funds withdrawn from Aave.
