Gold fell back to $4,830, while crude oil dropped nearly 2%.

In the foreign exchange market, the USD/CNH exchange rate remained unchanged at 6.80893. The USD/JPY exchange rate rose 0.01% to 158.826. In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.76% to 5,991.32 points; the UK FTSE 100 remained unchanged at 10,627.26 points; and the German DAX 40 fell 0.04% to 24,070.59 points. In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.79% to $90.52 per barrel, while Brent crude oil fell 0.65% to $96.46 per barrel.
