European stock indices and precious metals rose across the board, while the US dollar came under pressure and fell.

In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 1.56% to 5,539.15 points; the UK FTSE 100 rose 1.95% to 10,084.99 points; and the German DAX 40 rose 1.50% to 22,434.31 points. In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 0.58% to $101.96 per barrel, and Brent crude oil rose 0.83% to $111.63 per barrel.
