Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that approximately 80% of the company's perpetual preferred stock, STRC, is held by retail investors. The product pays dividends monthly and currently offers an annualized return of approximately 11.5%. Saylor explained that STRC is designed as a low-volatility yield instrument trading around a $100 par value and its dividend yield can be adjusted based on market conditions. Strategy has already raised nearly $3 billion this year through this product for Bitcoin allocation and plans to raise a total of $42 billion through related financing arrangements, with STRC accounting for $21 billion. Benchmark analysts point out that as demand for STRC grows, Strategy's Bitcoin allocation capabilities may continue to strengthen. (Bloomberg)
