US President Trump posted on his Real Social Media account that as they consider gradually de-escalating major military operations against the Iranian regime in the Middle East, they are very close to achieving their established goals: 1. Completely weaken Iran's missile capabilities, launchers, and all related facilities. 2. Destroy Iran's defense industrial base. 3. Eliminate Iran's naval and air forces, including air defense systems. 4. Never allow Iran to even come close to acquiring nuclear capabilities; at the same time, the US must maintain a posture to respond swiftly and forcefully should such a situation occur. 5. Protect US allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and other countries, with the highest level of protection. Trump stated that the guarding and patrolling of the Strait of Hormuz should be undertaken by other countries using the strait, if necessary, and the US will no longer assume this responsibility. The US is willing to support these countries' operations in the Strait of Hormuz if invited, but such assistance will no longer be necessary once the Iranian threat is completely eliminated. Most importantly, for these countries, this would be an easy military operation. (CCTV News)
