Bubblemaps published an article on the X platform stating that on-chain analysis suggests the airdrop of ROBO, the token of the Fabric Foundation, may have been the target of a large-scale "Syllabic attack." Data shows that approximately 7,500 newly created wallets participated in the airdrop through highly consistent on-chain behavior, suggesting control by a single entity. These addresses received concentrated funding in the two months prior to the airdrop, receiving similar amounts of ETH, and then transferred funds through three layers of new wallets before participating in the airdrop claim. Ultimately, approximately 199 million $ROBO tokens were claimed, representing about 40% of the total airdrop, worth approximately $8 million based on the initial launch price. On-chain fund flow data shows that the funds from these wallets originated from seven exchanges, exhibiting high consistency in fund flow, time distribution, and operational paths, further strengthening the conclusion that a single entity was manipulating the airdrop in bulk. Bubblemaps stated that no direct link has been found between the above activities and the core teams of Fabric Protocol or Openmind, and the investigation results were communicated to the project team before publication.
