The EU has confirmed that US social media platform X has paid a fine of €120 million.

On the 18th local time, Thomas Renier, spokesperson for the European Commission responsible for digital economy, confirmed that the US social media platform X had paid the €120 million fine imposed by the EU last December before the deadline and submitted a rectification plan regarding its "BlueFocus certification" feature.
