The POAP platform will enter maintenance mode on March 16th, during which time badge issuance will be unavailable. Existing badge collections will not be affected.

Isabel, co-founder of the on-chain badge protocol POAP, announced on the X platform that due to limited platform growth, the team has decided to transition POAP to maintenance mode starting March 16, 2026. This means: • For new issuers: After March 16, new issuers will no longer have access to the issuer interface. • For existing issuers: Existing tools can be used, and existing POAPs will remain intact. • For collectors: The collector interface will not be affected. • Technical support: APIs and existing integrations will continue to operate. • Core changes: The platform will no longer undergo active development. As resources allocated to the service are reduced, some operations may run slower. Furthermore, the team plans to develop a more underlying, open, and truly permissionless new standard for digital collectibles, and POAP may be integrated into the new system in the future (pending).
