Ukraine has reportedly attacked a crucial oil export pipeline hub in Russia's Krasnodar region, leading to a significant fire at the Tikhoretsk terminal. According to Jin10, the facility, which houses large oil reserves and a pumping station, is owned by Russian state oil pipeline operator Transneft PJSC. The Krasnodar emergency department confirmed that the fire broke out at an oil depot in the Tikhoretsk suburbs this morning, rapidly spreading over 3,800 square meters. Satellite images from NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System indicate that the burning oil depot is located in the same area as the pumping station. The Tikhoretsk pumping station is a vital component of Russia's supply and export system, distributing crude oil received through four major pipelines to the Black Sea ports of Novorossiysk and Tuapse.
