OKX launches Orbit, a social platform where users can link posts to transaction data.

OKX has announced the launch of a social feature called Orbit within its trading app. Users can discuss the market, conduct live streams, build communities, and directly link to tradable assets via token tags. Users can choose to view real-time data such as holdings, profits and losses, and trading records. This data is generated directly by the exchange and cannot be selectively edited or deleted by users. Orbit also introduces a creator reward mechanism linked to fan interaction, allowing users to earn rewards through content creation, live streams, and community building. Identity verification and compliance with KYC and anti-money laundering rules, consistent with those of the exchange, are required before using this feature. Initially, this feature will not be available in the US, Europe, Singapore, Australia, and the UAE; it is currently open to a limited number of users and will be expanded after the testing phase.
