Mitsubishi Gas Chemical (MGC) announced on March 2 that it will raise prices for its electronic materials, including CCL, prepreg, and CRS products, by 30% starting April 1. According to Jin10, the decision comes in response to soaring raw material costs and increasing labor and transportation expenses, which have significantly impacted the profitability of these products. MGC is a leading innovator in the high-end packaging substrate materials sector globally. Earlier, Japanese semiconductor materials giant Resonac also increased prices for CCL and adhesive films by 30% starting March 1.
