Colony, the Avalanche ecosystem fund and accelerator project, announced on Medium that after approximately five years of operation within the AVAX ecosystem, the team has decided to officially cease operations by the end of the first quarter of 2026. The statement cited factors such as slowing ecosystem growth, reduced inflows of funds and projects, and changes in core technology and asset governance structure as reasons for the project's continued demise. During the liquidation phase, the team stated that it will not utilize protocol liquidity or community funds, and the related CLY tokens have not been sold or staked. The final distribution to CLY stakers will follow, and the front-end interface will be gradually shut down.
