The Ethereum Foundation has introduced a new roadmap, termed 'Strawmap,' which outlines five primary goals for the network's development. According to BWEnews, the objectives include achieving fast Layer 1 (L1) finality and creating a 'gigagas' L1 capable of processing 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) through zkEVMs. Additionally, the roadmap aims to establish a 'teragas' Layer 2 (L2) using data availability sampling, implement post-quantum cryptography, and provide native L1 privacy for shielded Ethereum (ETH) transfers. These initiatives are designed to enhance the scalability, security, and privacy of the Ethereum network, positioning it for future technological advancements.
