Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on U.S. President Donald Trump to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. According to Jin10, Zelensky made this appeal during a speech at the presidential palace in Kyiv, ahead of the fourth anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He emphasized the significant influence of the United States and urged Trump to express support for Ukraine in his upcoming State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Zelensky stated, "They must stand with democratic nations because this person is a war. Putin is a war. Everything is about him, and his entire country is trapped." He further noted that if the U.S. genuinely wants to stop Putin, it has the power to do so.
When asked whether he believes Trump has exerted enough pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky responded, "No."
