Todd Snyder, the administrator of the Terraform Labs liquidation plan, announced that he has filed a lawsuit in Manhattan federal court against trading giant Jane Street and its co-founder Robert Granieri, among others. Snyder accuses Jane Street of insider trading using material, non-public information from Terraform Labs insiders to illegally profit during the TerraUSD de-pegging and collapse of the Terra ecosystem. The indictment alleges that Jane Street obtained confidential information through a secret channel established with Terraform Labs employees via former intern Bryce Pratt, and then preemptively withdrew 85 million TerraUSD within 10 minutes of Terraform Labs withdrawing 150 million from the Curve pool on May 7, 2022. Previously, Snyder had filed a similar lawsuit against Jump Trading, seeking $4 billion in damages. Jane Street has denied the allegations. (WSJ)
