Tokyo Skytree Elevator Malfunction Strands Visitors

An elevator malfunction occurred at Tokyo Skytree on Sunday, leaving 20 people trapped for approximately five and a half hours. According to Ming Pao, around 1,200 visitors were temporarily stranded at the observation deck. The Skytree will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday to conduct inspections and investigate the cause of the incident.
