The US and Iran reached an agreement on "some overall issues" during the second round of negotiations.

In the second round of Iran-US talks that concluded on the 17th, the two sides reached an agreement on some general issues. After the negotiating delegations briefed their respective governments, Iran and the US will continue to discuss details. On the 6th of this month, representatives from Iran and the United States held indirect talks in Muscat, the capital of Oman, and reached a consensus on continuing the negotiations, but serious differences remained on core issues.
