Cathie Wood, founder of ARK Invest, stated that according to Truflation data, US consumer price inflation has fallen to 0.86% year-on-year, significantly lower than the 2%-3% range maintained over the past two years. She believes there is a possibility that inflation could decline further, even turning negative, a judgment different from the predictions of BlackRock and PIMCO. Wood also pointed out that although the US dollar index (DXY) has recently corrected, it has not collapsed. If the current administration's policies increase the US rate of return on capital (ROIC) relative to the rest of the world, the dollar may see a return to the strong upward trend seen during the "Reaganomics" era of the 1980s.
