A robbery occurred yesterday near a money exchange shop on Des Voeux Road Central in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, with 58 million yen stolen. Hong Kong police have announced the case has been solved. The two suspects, aged 27 and 51, are Japanese men who have been arrested at Hong Kong Airport. Both were employees of the Japanese money exchange shop. They were preparing to exchange 190 million yen (approximately HK$5.88 million) when one of them snatched the other's backpack (containing 58 million yen). Hong Kong police quickly identified the suspects using CCTV footage and successfully arrested the two Japanese men who carried out the robbery and acted as accomplices. (Hong Kong 01)
