Bleap has announced the completion of a $6 million seed funding round, led by Blossom Capital. The project's primary focus is developing an on-chain financial application built around self-custody and stablecoin payments. Founded by former Revolut executives Joao Alves and Guilherme Gomes, the project aims to use blockchain as a settlement layer to provide payment, cross-border transfer, and savings yield functionality. Bleap is currently launched in Europe and Mexico and plans to use the new funding to expand to more regions in Latin America and launch cross-chain transaction capabilities. Furthermore, Bleap plans to reschedule the launch of its native token to early 2027.
