On International Data Privacy Day, Bitget officially announced the appointment of MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo as its Security Ambassador. To mark this occasion, the two companies launched a five-module security education video series, systematically explaining phishing attacks, two-factor authentication, risk warnings, and core mechanisms such as Bitget's Protection Fund and Certificate of Reserve. The series uses Lorenzo's signature "X-Fuera" racing perspective as a starting point to illustrate how a broader perspective and access to information within the UEX (Unique Horizons Exchange) ecosystem can enhance the security and rationality of trading decisions. This security education content also integrates with Bitget's Anti-Fraud Center. Launched in June 2025, the center continuously provides users with real-time fraud warnings and security tools. Currently, Bitget maintains a protection fund exceeding $300 million and consistently releases Merkel Tree Certificates of Reserve monthly to ensure users' assets are fully backed 1:1. Jorge Lorenzo stated that both motorsport and the digital asset industry require a precise balance between speed and security; Bitget CEO Gracy Chen also pointed out that he hopes this collaboration will further enhance users' proactive awareness of digital asset security and promote continuous progress in the industry in terms of transparency and security standards.
