Morgan Stanley Wealth agrees crypto-to-ETP referral arrangement with Galaxy Digital

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management agreed a referral arrangement with Galaxy Digital that lets eligible clients lend crypto in exchange for shares in spot crypto exchange-traded products, including the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT). According to BeInCrypto, clients can lend assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) or Solana (SOL) to Galaxy, which coordinates an in-kind creation so ETP shares are delivered to the client’s account without selling the crypto. Galaxy will cut its lending minimum for Morgan Stanley referrals to $5 million from $25 million, and onboarding may shrink by up to 75% in some cases.
