According to ChainCatcher, Paxos has seen substantial growth in the past year, with its total asset valuation soaring from $1.2 billion in January 2025 to $6.8 billion currently, marking an increase of over 450%. Data from TokenTerminal indicates that the PayPal stablecoin PYUSD, issued by Paxos, contributed to more than 50% of this growth, rising from approximately $500 million in January 2025 to $3.6 billion now. Additionally, Paxos Gold token PAXG has performed strongly, benefiting from the surge in gold prices in 2025, with its market value increasing from $500 million to $1.8 billion. Over the past year, PAXG has risen by 72%, driven by the minting of new tokens and the rise in prices, which have collectively boosted its total market valuation.
