U.S. Treasury Secretary Expects Trade Agreements Before Labor Day

According to Odaily, U.S. Treasury Secretary Besent expressed optimism about finalizing a trade agreement before Labor Day. He mentioned that they are very close to reaching an agreement on the state and local tax (SALT) issues within the tax bill. Besent anticipates the completion of 10 trade agreements, with a total of 10 to 12 agreements expected. Following this, there are 20 significant agreements still to be addressed. Labor Day, a national holiday in the United States, is observed on the first Monday of September to honor workers.
