Both parties are attempting to persuade Judge Analisa Torres to amend her ruling, lift the injunction against Ripple, and reduce the $125 million fine to $50 million, citing 'special circumstances' as justification for the request. Cryptocurrency lawyer John Deaton estimates a 70% chance that Judge Torres will approve a victory for Ripple. He suggests that the judge may prefer to issue a final judgment rather than initiate another round of litigation.
