AI TRENDS | TSMC Reveals 2nm and 3nm Capacity Expansion Targets for Next Year

According to Wallstreetcn, Taiwanese media cited supply chain sources saying TSMC disclosed its latest 2nm and 3nm expansion targets for next year for the first time, with 2nm capacity rising from 90,000 wafers at the end of this year to 110,000 wafers by mid-next year, up 22%, and 3nm capacity increasing from more than 180,000 wafers at the end of this year to 210,000 wafers by mid-next year, up more than 16%. On September 13, TSMC said it would not comment on market rumors and stressed that any capacity-related statements should be based on company announcements.
