Trump Meets Advisers on Digital Asset Market Clarity Act Ethics Proposal

U.S. President Donald Trump met with advisers on Friday, September 11, 2026, to discuss ethics proposals related to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, according to two people familiar with the matter. According to Foresight News, it was not clear what came out of the meeting or which advisers attended, and the White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Saturday night. The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote at about 2:15 PM Eastern Time on September 15, 2026, on a motion to end debate on HR 3633, the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025. The motion would require 60 votes in the 100-member Senate to pass. If approved, it would only open full debate and would not advance the bill itself.
