Lobito Atlantic Railway Sees Cargo Volumes Double After $300 Million Draw

Lobito Atlantic Railway expects cargo volumes to double next year after its first drawdown from a $753 million financing package for the US-backed route linking Democratic Republic of Congo’s copper and cobalt belt to Angola’s Atlantic coast, according to Bloomberg. The company said it has taken the first $300 million from the package.
