Kalshi Wins CFTC Approval to Launch Gold and Silver Perpetual Contracts on September 10

Prediction market platform Kalshi has received approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to launch gold and silver perpetual contracts on September 10, according to CNBC. According to Foresight News, this is the first non-crypto perpetual contract product approved by the CFTC. Kalshi was first approved at the end of May to offer crypto perpetual contracts. The related products have reached a notional trading volume of $44 billion so far.
