Yunmei Energy Flags Abnormal Trading After 20% Three-Day Share Price Rise

Yunmei Energy said on September 9 that its shares had risen by a cumulative more than 20% over three consecutive trading days from September 7 to September 9, meeting the criteria for abnormal trading volatility, according to Jiemian News. The company said it operates two coke production bases, and that operations at its Anning coking plant have not changed materially so far. It also said its wholly owned subsidiary Shizong Coal Coking Chemical Co. suspended production for economic reasons on June 15. Yunmei Energy added that domestic coal-coke market prices were relatively firm this week, but that the market environment and industry policy had not seen major changes, and that other production and business activities were operating normally.
