Quantus Mainnet Set for September 9 Launch, With Mining as Initial Token Access

Quantus founder and CEO Yuvi Lightman said on X that the project’s quantum-resistant blockchain mainnet will launch on September 9. According to ChainCatcher, the only way to obtain tokens at launch will be through mining, with liquidity and trading support expected several weeks later. The team said it has merged Immunefi security work into the public codebase and completed all fixes from the audit contest. It added support for ML-DSA-65 and ML-DSA-87, binds each signature to its context under the FIPS 204 standard, applies fail-closed handling to undecodable multisig transactions, and strengthened its network stack against denial-of-service attacks. Quantus also said it completed end-to-end drills on a global pre-mainnet spanning the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Australia. It used an automated pipeline to produce signed binaries, deployed multi-region bootnodes and dedicated RPC nodes through infrastructure as code, and reduced indexer memory usage from above 90% to about 26%. The project has also launched a signup page for its launch, updated its website, added multi-account support for Keystone hardware wallets, and released CLI v2.1.3 and miner v4.0.2. Quantum & Privacy Day will be held in Singapore on October 8 in partnership with NEAR, alongside Token2049.
