The Sandbox has launched a SAND compensation claims page for the August 22 bridge attack on Base and BNB Chain, with the claim window running from September 8 to 22. According to Odaily, wallets that legally held bridged SAND before the attack can receive a 1:1 SAND compensation on Ethereum by sending a transaction from the holding wallet, without filling out a form or providing documents. Users holding SAND through centralized exchanges do not need to take action, as the team is coordinating with the relevant exchanges. Those who miss the September 22 deadline can contact the official team for individual handling before the end of October. The team also warned users to stay alert and said it will not send private messages or ask users to approve tokens, sign off-chain messages, or transfer funds.
