Marathon Asset Management CEO Bruce Richards Says the Fed Should Let the U.S. Economy Run Slightly Hotter

According to Wallstreetcn, Marathon Asset Management CEO Bruce Richards said in a Bloomberg TV interview that the Federal Reserve should allow the U.S. economy to run "slightly hotter" as long as price pressures are under control. He said productivity gains are starting to show up in corporate earnings growth, with revenue up 9% and profit up 30%, and added that he likes the current state of the U.S. economy and thinks letting it run a little hotter would be good for the world if inflation remains well controlled.
