New Focus (00360) rose 21.43% to HK$0.051 and extended its gains for a third straight day, bringing the cumulative advance to 88.89%. Sinopec (00386) climbed 2.65% to HK$4.85 and hit a one-month high. The active buy-sell ratio was 61:39 for New Focus and 81:19 for Sinopec.
