首hui Industrial Finance Plans Stake Sale In Beijing Robot Leasing Unit

Shouhui Industrial Finance (0730) said it recently received an expression of interest from Shougang Industrial Investment (Beijing) Technology Innovation, an associate of its controlling shareholder, regarding a proposed sale of about 24.84% of its shares in Beijing Robot Financing Leasing to the group. The company said the timing, price and terms of any potential acquisition have yet to be determined. Funding for the possible deal is expected to come from internal resources and/or capital market financing, according to Ming Pao. Shouhui Industrial Finance also said it currently has no plan to use the net proceeds from the proposed rights issue announced on July 14 for the potential acquisition.
