OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a podcast interview on September 2, local time, that the company will develop humanoid robots in-house. According to Odaily, he said OpenAI will build humanoid robots and also develop robots in other forms. Altman added that humanoid robots are an important direction because of the need to adapt to the human body structure in the physical world, and that OpenAI will also work in parallel on specialized robots for data centers.
