Willy Woo Says Bitcoin Adoption Could Shape Its Role as Ownership Rises

On-chain analyst Willy Woo said about 4% of the global population holds S&P 500 assets, 4.5% holds gold, and 5% holds Bitcoin. According to ChainCatcher, he said Bitcoin’s future penetration rate will determine whether it is viewed mainly as a financial asset or as something closer to money. He added that at around a 5% ownership level, BTC is still mainly seen as a financial asset. If that share rises to about 50%, he said it could signal a pattern in which money and the state become separated.
