HKEX May Allow Confidential IPO Filings And Ease Listing Rules

The South China Morning Post, citing sources, reported that Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing will allow startups to submit listing applications confidentially and ease market-capitalization thresholds for weighted voting rights and international companies. The proposed thresholds may be lower than those HKEX put forward in March, as the exchange seeks to attract more startups and overseas companies to list in Hong Kong and improve the market's international competitiveness, according to Ming Pao.
