NDRC Chief Zheng Shanjie Hosts Private Enterprise Roundtable on July 20

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) chief Zheng Shanjie chaired a roundtable with private companies on July 20, according to 36Kr. Executives from Synear Food, Suzhou E-Town, Easyread, Galbot, and Feishang Technology discussed the first-half economy and second-half economic work, offering views based on their sectors and business conditions. The participating company heads said external instability and uncertainty have increased this year, but China has withstood pressure and made steady progress. They added that their operations are stable, market expectations are improving, and they have the ability and confidence to meet full-year production and operating targets.
