According to CNBC, Chrysler parent Stellantis said Tuesday it has opened U.S. ordering for the Fiat Topolino, an all-electric quadricycle, starting at $13,995. Stellantis said the Topolino has a top speed of 19 mph and an electric range of up to 46 miles; a “Low Speed Vehicle” conversion kit can raise top speed to 25 mph to make it street legal on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less. A Stellantis spokeswoman said the conversion kit will be free, but a mandatory $990 destination fee brings the customer price to $14,985. Stellantis said the Morocco-built Topolino will be available in limited quantities this year as a hardtop model with doors or a “Dolce Vita” soft-top convertible model with a rope instead of doors.
