In the first half of 2026, 23 Chinese mutual fund managers participated in 69 A-share private placements, with total allocated investment reaching RMB 33.623 billion as of June 25, 2026, up 207.99% from RMB 10.917 billion a year earlier, according to 36Kr. Based on June 25 closing prices, 19 of the 23 managers had unrealized gains, representing 82.61% of participants. Total unrealized gains from these placements were RMB 8.261 billion, implying an overall floating profit ratio of 24.57%.
